C.F Martin and Company, or better known as Martin Guitars is one of the world’s most coveted acoustic guitar manufacturers, and one of their most famous models is the dreadnought. The Martin DX1AE we have here at Bella Romeo is a more affordable version of the dreadnought, but it also has a lot of quality and features. It features a solid Sitka Spruce top and bracing, which gives a balanced tonal profile and sounds better over time. The backs and sides are mahogany-patterned HPL which provides a sturdy body construction. It features a 14-fret black micarta fretboard with an oval shape that allows for easy playing, and also has a built-in fishman Sonitone electronics which has a great plugged-in tone. If you are looking for an original and affordable dreadnought guitar made by Martin which also has a lot of value, then this is the guitar for you!
This guitar is used and it is in mint- condition. There are no scratches or dings on the top and back of the body. There is a very minor scratch on the side of the guitar, and it is not noticeable unless examined closely. There is one minor scratch on the neck, and the fretboard is in great condition. The frets are virtually new. There are some minor scratches on the headstock. The chrome finish on the tuners remain intact, the electronics are working normally and the truss rod functions in both direction. This guitar comes with a generic gig bag.
