Knaggs Guitars is an American boutique instrument manufacturer which was founded by Joe Knaggs, a world-renowned luthier and ex-PRS director of Research and Development, and Private Stock Department in 2009, and he has brought his 25 years of guitar making experience over to his own guitar brand. Knaggs’ aim is to produce the best instruments whilst using state-of the art materials and having world class builders building them, and this philosophy is demonstrated in this Kenai- J Guitar that we have here at Bella Romeo. This guitar features a mahogany body wood construction, which the mahogany has a warm tonal profile, and has a strong bass and lower-mid response. It features a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard and mahogany neck, which the rosewood is beloved by many guitarists as it brings a luxurious aesthetics and warmth. For electronics, it is equipped with Seymour Duncan P-90 in the neck position and SH4 humbucker in the bridge position, which the P-90 is inspired by the vintage Gibson P-90s and it has the gritty midrange that is synonymous with P-90s. The SH4 is a versatile pickup that can handle all types of genres, and it is one of the most popular Seymour Duncan pickups, which is saying something!
This guitar is used and is in Mint minus condition. Originally sold at Bella Romeo as a new dealer instrument, the previous owner traded in for a preference towards a lighter weight instrument. There are very minimal signs of use. The back of the body exhibit very light scuff on the flat surface but no where close to getting through the lacquer paint, and they are not visible in photos. Frets are virtually new. The guitar comes with a certificate of authenticity, original toolkit, deluxe hardshell case and strap lock.
