Fender Precision Bass Fretless Antigua 1978 [Used]

Description

This 1978 Fender Precision Fretless Bass in Antigua is very rare and it is definitely one to keep an eye on. The Antigua finish was one of the colours that Fender uses in the late 70’s, and it gives the bass an awesome vintage look. It features an alder body wood construction, which has a balanced tonal response. It comes with a fretless rosewood fingerboard and maple neck, which the rosewood provides warmth and smoothness and the maple gives a bright tone and fast attack. For electronics, it is equipped with a precision bass split coil pickup, which has a crisp top-end, lots of clarity and beefy lows. 

This bass is used and it is in Exc+ condition. There are some minor nicks on the top of the body, and some nicks and scratches on the sides and on the back of the body. There are a few minor nicks and scratches on the top of the headstock. There are no noticeable wear on the neck finish; the fingerboard is smooth although some string marks can be seen due to normal use.  The chrome finish remains intact, the electronics are working properly and the truss rod functions in both direction. This bass comes with an original deluxe hardshell case. All specifications are listed in the Additional Information tab above.
