The item images show the demo unit that we unwrapped in our showroom. Customers will only receive un-opened, brand new units, depicted in the last couple of pictures. To categorise the Neural DSP Quad Cortex as a guitar/bass pedal is an understatement. Weighted under 2 kg, it is a compact box that houses a collection of algorithms for your guitar or bass, including 50+ amp profiles, 70+ effects, and 1000+ cab IRs. These algorithms are growing over time as we speak. A combination of touch screen, as well as foot switches that also coupled as rotary knobs, provides efficient and customisable controls for recording and live situations. With a few strokes on the touch screen, you can swap the order of effects in the chain without complicated cabling.
The sounds from our initial test were impressive – we are keeping one in our showroom as demo, and hopefully we will shoot some nice videos with it. If you have some existing effect pedals that you cannot live without, two sets of send/return allow you to use those pedals and move them anywhere you like in the Neural effect chain. The latest update includes a much-anticipated looper function, as well as a large number of effects, amps and IRs. Quick link to Neural’s product page here.
This item is a demo unit in our showroom, and is in Excellent+ condition. Slight usage wear, but touch screen is free from any scratch.
Notes on the buying process
Our items are listed on this site (bellaromeo.com), as well as being available in our physical showroom in Wan Chai, Hong Kong and third-party online shopping platform(s). In rare occasions, the item may be sold out first via other channels, in which case we regrettably will need to prioritise the order fulfilment by the time stamp of the order being placed on a first-come-first-sold basis.
CREDIT CARD PAYMENT. When you place an order with us here at bellaromeo.com using a credit card, the checkout process only authrorize a hold of the payment amount. Once we received your order, we will review the order to check (1) if there are any combined shipping opportunity, (2) stock is not sold elsewhere, and (3) accuracy of all information about your order. We will send you an updated invoice if there are any changes for your agreement. Once everything is in good order, we will charge your credit card.
DIRECT BANK TRANSFER. If you wish to pay by bank transfer, you may pay in US dollars (USD), European Euros (EUR), British Pounds (GBP), Japanese Yen (JPY), Hong Kong Dollars (HKD), Chinese Yuan (CNY), Canadian Dollars (CAD), Australian Dollars (AUD), New Zealand Dollars (NZD), Swiss Francs (CHF), and Singaporean Dollars (SGD). This could help our customer save on currency conversion charges by credit card / payment companies.
