Ovation Guitars is known for manufacturing steel-string acoustic guitars with pickups, and here in Bella Romeo we have the Ovation 1869 Custom Legend USA. The guitar features a composite body construction which is more stable and stronger than natural wood, and the spruce top provide a balanced tonal profile. It features a 22-fret ebony fretboard and mahogany neck with a soft “V” shape that provides smooth playing and bright tones. Also, it features a 4-band Equaliser and notch filter that opens up endlessly tonal possibilities.
This guitar is used and it is in very good condition. There are some visible scratches and one dent on the top of the body, some checking on the soundhole decals, and there are no major wear on the rounded back. The fretboard and neck are in fair condition. There are a bit of decay on the binding of the neck. There are no noticeable nicks or scratches on the headstock. There are about 70% of frets remaining, which has plenty of life, but a bit of corrosion. The electronics and hardware are working properly with no issue.
