Designed for the discerning musician, Amrita stands as a beacon of excellence in the world of bass guitars. Each Amrita bass guitar is more than just an instrument; Amrita is a symphony of craftsmanship, innovation, and unparalleled sound quality.

Michael League, renowned musician and founder of Snarky Puppy, takes you on a journey through the history of Amrita.

BRUNO BACCI: “I want to make a signature bass with you so like what can we change?”
MICHAEL LEAGUE: “Nothing. It’s perfect.”

The Amrita bass represents a pinnacle of technical mastery in the world of stringed instruments, brought to life by the expert hands of luthier Bruno Bacci.
This exceptional bass guitar, a culmination of a four-year intensive research and design process, features a distinctive use of twenty-year-aged woodworm timber, a material traditionally overlooked in instrument making.

Bacci’s revolutionary approach turns this unique wood into a sonic powerhouse, leveraging its natural wormholes as intricate acoustic chambers. These enhance the bass’s depth and clarity, producing a sound that blends the soulful resonance of vintage instruments with the crispness of modern technology.
Light in weight yet rich in sound, each Amrita bass is an embodiment of innovation, combining artistic craftsmanship with unparalleled acoustic engineering, marking a new era in the legacy of bass guitars.

Amrita captures the essence of vintage tones while embracing the demands of contemporary music. With its P- style simplicity, you control the sound—bringing the ’50s, ’60s, and ’70s back to life with a modern twist.

Immersing yourself in the world of music with the Amrita Woodworm Michael League is a journey back to the vibrancy and adventure of youth. It’s about awakening the youthful spirit that lies within us all. This bass is not just an instrument; it’s a beacon of rejuvenation, an invitation to embrace the excitement and energy of life.

With Amrita, you’re not merely acquiring a musical tool, but unlocking a world brimming with unexplored possibilities. It represents the desire to break free from the mundane, to introduce a touch of adventure into the music you love and into your everyday life. It’s about stirring the waters of creativity and reigniting the passion that may have dimmed over time.

Amrita symbolizes a deep-seated desire for new modes of expression, understanding that music is a universal language that transcends words. It offers a powerful means of conveying emotions, sharing joys and sorrows, and finding new ways to express your individuality.

The Amrita Woodworm Michael League is not just a new instrument; it’s the harbinger of your next great passion, a testament to the enduring power of music to transform, inspire, and rejuvenate.

The Amrita bass is a product of four years of dedicated research and development. The cornerstone of its design is the rare, twenty-year-aged woodworm wood, carefully selected for its unique acoustic properties.

This wood, once considered unsuitable for musical instruments, is transformed into a sonorous marvel through Bacci’s innovative techniques. The key feature of Amrita lies in its natural sound amplification, achieved by harnessing the wormholes as micro-resonating chambers, enriching the bass tones with unparalleled depth and warmth.

The intricate voids within the wood serve as natural amplifiers, ensuring that every note you play is a masterpiece in itself. Crystal-clear, powerful tones flow effortlessly, enveloping your senses in a symphony of sound.

This approach, combined with a lightweight, streamlined build, delivers a robust and immediate sound, reminiscent of vintage basses yet imbued with modern clarity.

This bass is new.  It comes with its original deluxe hardshell case, CoA, and truss rod/saddle height adjustment tools.  Photos in this listing are of the actual instrument that the buyer will be receiving.  This instrument is very light weight at 3.7 kg.
