Description
Spector’s legacy began in a small wood shop in Brooklyn, NY in 1976. Our founder, Stuart Spector, had a conviction to build instruments that emphasized craftsmanship, playability, and heirloom level quality. Over 45 years later, our small team of luthiers carries on this tradition in our USA Custom Shop located just outside of Woodstock, NY. The Spector NS is among the most recognizable electric bass designs in history. Drawing on the most popular elements introduced by the famed Brooklyn, Kramer, and modern Woodstock eras of our company, the new Spector NS USA Series basses culminate in a concept that began over 45 years ago. Spector didn’t change it, but simply made a perfect bass even better.
This Spector NS-2 is a lightweight chambered construction, and weighs at 3.7 kg. The legendary bass produces tones ranging from fat/thick to deep scoop, thanks to the EMG PJ pickup set and the 2-band EQ for high and low frequencies.
This bass has been pre-owned by our shop only, and condition in unplayed. Electronics are flawless, and the truss rod has good margin on both direction. 24 Nickel frets tall as new. The bass comes with its original Spector hardcase. All specs can be found on the Additional Information tab above.
