Knaggs Guitars is an American boutique instrument manufacturer which was founded by Joe Knaggs, a world-renowned luthier and ex-PRS director of Research and Development, and Private Stock Department in 2009, and he has brought his 25 years of guitar making experience over to his own guitar brand. Knaggs’ aim is to produce the best instruments whilst using state-of the art materials and having world class builders building them, and this philosophy is demonstrated in this T2 Severn Guitar that we have here at Bella Romeo. This guitar features a Tier 2 flamed maple top and light weight alder body wood construction, which the Tier 2 maple is an upgraded option and gives a fantastic look while bringing brightness to the guitar, and the alder provides a well-rounded tonal character. It features a 22-fret East Indian rosewood fingerboard and Tier 2 flamed curly rock maple neck, which the rosewood allows for more warmth and the T2 flamed maple neck is also an upgraded option and it provides snappy attack and unrivalled playability. For electronics, it is equipped with a DiMarzio SatchTrack pickup in the bridge position and two DiMarzio Area 67 pickups, which the SatchTrack pickup brings the best of both worlds between humbucker and single coil pickup, and the Area 67s brings the classic single coil tones but with no hum.
