Nik Huber Guitars was founded by Nik Huber in 1996. Today a team of 8 highly skilled specialists is building around 240 instruments a year, all hand-crafted. Since the first attendance at the Frankfurt Musik Messe in 1997, Nik Huber Guitars gained a worldwide reputation as a serious manufacturer of high-end electric-guitars. In 1999 the expanding company moved to a commercial park in its hometown, Rodgau – 20 km south of Frankfurt/Germany, and resides now in a fully, state-of-the-art equipped workshop.
The Nik Huber Piet is a high-end electric guitar manufactured in Germany. The Piet has won top spot in 2020 Gear of the Year in the Prestige Electric category at the Guitarist Magazine (Jan 2021 issue). Its body is made from mahogany, a popular tonewood that offers a warm and full-bodied sound. The guitar’s standout feature is its stunning Tortoise Green Semi-Gloss finish, which is sure to turn heads. The bridge pickup is a P90 custom cover foil style, which delivers a bright and articulate tone with plenty of twang. The fingerboard is made of Indian Rosewood and features 22 frets, providing a smooth and comfortable playing experience. The neck pickup is a broad Tele style single-coil, which provides a classic and versatile sound that is perfect for a range of musical styles.
