Here at Bella Romeo we present a true vintage 1977 Fender Jazz Bass in 3 Tone Burst. This bass features an ash wood body construction, which provides a balanced tonal profile with more upper-mids. It features a 20 fret maple fingerboard and neck, which gives the bass a bright sound and speedy attack. For electronics, it comes with two original Fender Jazz bass pickups which has that classic snappy tone that are synonymous with the likes of legendary bass players such as Marcus Miller and Jaco Pastorius. This bass is used and it is in good condition. Mechanically, the truss rod is fully tightened. The current action is about 3.5mm on E-string, and 3mm on G-string @12th-fret, with DR Pure Blues Nickel 40-95 gauge. All original parts. There are about 50% of the frets remaining. Cosmetically, there are a few nicks and some scratches on the body, which is understandable due to its age. The red hue on the top of the body has faded, also due to its age. The neck is in good condition and there are only a few small nicks. One visible crack on the first fret, but it is not felt and therefore doesn’t hinder playing. There are a few small scratches on the fingerboard, and the inlays have aged. There are a few nicks around the headstock. The electronics plate have some scratches, but overall the chrome finish on the hardware remains intact. The electronics are working properly.
