Nik Huber Guitars was founded by Nik Huber in 1996. Today a team of 8 highly skilled specialists is building around 240 instruments a year, all hand-crafted. Since the first attendance at the Frankfurt Musik Messe in 1997, Nik Huber Guitars gained a worldwide reputation as a serious manufacturer of high-end electric-guitars. In 1999 the expanding company moved to a commercial park in its hometown, Rodgau – 20 km south of Frankfurt/Germany, and resides now in a fully, state-of-the-art equipped workshop.
The Nik Huber Krautster II is a high-quality electric guitar made in Germany. The body is crafted from mahogany, with an Open Pore Worn Petrol Blue finish. The bridge pickup is a Krautster-B, designed specifically for this model, delivering a vintage-inspired tone. The fingerboard is made of Indian Rosewood, which is a popular choice among guitarists due to its smooth and balanced tone. The neck pickup is a P-90 style single-coil, which produces a classic and versatile sound that is great for a wide range of music genres.
