Description

Le Fay has been handcrafting great-sounding instruments from selected woods for over 30 years. Also components such as pickups, saddles and bridges of Le Fay electric basses are developed and manufactured directly by Le Fay. That’s why everything is perfectly coordinated and easy to play. For these reasons, professionals around the world, in some cases for decades, swear on Le Fay instruments.

Le Fay is currently no longer building the Midas, as it has probably evolved into models such as Capone or Karlsson (bridge tuning system being the main difference).

The tonal variability of this bass is unmatched, with 3 pickups that can be used in any combination, enabled by the on/off switches for each pickup.  And the mid and bridge PUs can be operated in either parallel or in series.  This custom order Le Fay has factory-installed Glockenklang pre-amp system, with bass, mid, treble cut or boost.  The pre-amp, as typical for Glockenklang, is very clear and, if desired, can be very bright.

This bass is used and is in Excellent condition.  There is feeling that it has been used with care, but no obvious nicks or scratches.  Frets remain quite tall around 80%, and they are stainless steel.  The bass comes with a generic gig bag.
